In 2003, Jun decided to hibernate from traditional legal practice and instead, went into developmental lawyering. In 2008, he was appointed Deputy Country Director of the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) – Philippines, a position he held until February 2013 when he decided to re-join the Firm.

Jun was a Lecturer on Obligations and Contracts at De La Salle - College of St. Benilde, and is currently a Lecturer on Legal Ethics, Legal Forms, and Legal Writing at the Far Eastern University Institute of Law. He was also a columnist of the OFW Guardian, a publication which caters to the legal needs and concerns of overseas Filipino workers.

Fields of Practice

  • Litigation
  • Labor and Employment

On the Lighter Side
When not lawyering, Jun (a.k.a. Koplas) spends most of his time with his wife, Seset, and three kids, Rome, Lucas, and Sandy. He also likes exerting much time and effort trying to restore old Mercedes Benzes to their former glory. So far, he has met little success.
